ihcus nationals - futurity/nationals

On Wednesday afternoon Hattie made her Nationals Debut in Futurity! While she was a bit distracted she did wonderfully, placing second in her class. The judge had many nice things to say about Hattie and her sister!

Thursday was the day of the National Specialty itself, and the day Hattie turned 8 months old!

It was a long day full of so many wonderful dogs and people. Hattie showed for the first time in the big kid ring and handled herself so well! She won her class (of 1) and went on to make the final cut in WB! Hattie also helped her dad, Spencer in the stud dog class. I was so happy with her performances and thought that was her day finished. Thankfully a friend told me Hattie would also go back in the ring for Best Puppy!

Hattie was tired but held herself together and went on to win Best Puppy under esteemed hound expert Michael Canalizo! I couldn’t be more proud of my baby dog! So thankful to Meg and Baylie (Marwyn Hounds) for entrusting me with my vibrant red girl! So proud of her!
