We tried out a new sport! We have a new club in our area and entered in canicross to show our support. Fable ran both Saturday and Sunday. Json was a bit young to run officially, so he got signed up for the fun run on Saturday. Everyone had a great time, but I think we will be moving to bikejoring in the future, so the boys can go fast and so I am (hopefully) in less pain afterwards!

2022 Year end rankings have come out and I am SO proud of the boys! Rankings are calculated using the Bowens Point System, which takes both the number of dogs that ran and the dog's placement into consideration. 

Json didn't start running until April for ASFA and May for AKC. In just 5 days of ASFA Json managed to make it into the Top 15 and has earned 48pts towards his FCh and the two 1st place placements he needed! In AKC Json earned his FC in just three weekends of running with 4 majors and winning a BOB. Json ended the year in the Top 20 of AKC Coursing! 

Fable really leaned into his "Field Cheater" status this year. Despite this he finished in the Top 10 for ASFA and Top 15 for AKC Lure Coursing! This year was also the first year Fable ran LGRA (straight racing). He managed a Top 5 ranking and has gotten much better about the start box.
