Despite the weather, the crew had a great time Lure Coursing in Limestone this weekend! Json won specials on Saturday and BOB on Sunday for 9pts towards his LCX3! Fable was 5th on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday earning 2pts towards his LCX! Hattie was again 2nd to her brother Pete both days but she earned her SC title!

Hattie started her Lure Coursing career this weekend at the SSRC trial! She had a gorgeous QC run with her auntie Khaleesi and a spectacular prelims run on Saturday. She tied with her brother, Pete and forfeited since she seemed tired after finals. She was second to her brother on Sunday as well. Hattie earned her first 2 points and 2 legs towards her SC! Json was 4th and 2nd with Fable earning 5th and 4th. Fable also helped QC Topeka and Cyrano the Ibizans!

The crew had a great time at ASFA this weekend! Json was 2nd in Field Champions on Saturday and BOB on Sunday! Fable had a grand time doing his moose-baby thing!

Had a great weekend in Olive Branch! Json earned his 3rd Best in Field and his LCX2! Fable had a great time assisting with QCs and certs! Fable also got to try out being a carting dog!

Had a great weekend in Canon, GA! Json was BOB both days and on Saturday earned his 2nd Best In Field! Fable was a trooper and helped QC dogs!

​We started the day with the ASFA field trial. I may or may not have almost gotten my car stuck, but managed to get things sorted out!
Fable put in some surprisingly good runs to land in 4th in Field Champions after a tiebreaker.

Json was on fire! He won the Field Champion stake then tied with the Open stake winner in the first breed run despite a fall from Json. After a quick blanket change on J’s part, we ran them again and Baby J put in a beautiful run to win BOB! He also won the Bench Stake, High Scoring Field Champion, and won the Kennel Stakes with Fable! So so proud of my Baby Spice!

Wednesday evening the results of the Triathlon was announced and Fable placed 2nd with Json placing 3rd! So proud of my boys!

We started off our 2024 Ibizan Hound Nationals in Sorento, IL for AKC Lure Coursing! In a quality entry Json placed 3rd in his stake and Fable wasn't last! Both boys ran beautifully on a new field!

We always love going up to Limestone, TN for their annual Birthday Bash event!

Json was the star this weekend, placing 3rd on Saturday (after a tie for 2nd), 1st/BOB on Sunday, and 3rd (after a tie for 1st, then a tie for 2nd) on Monday. Json picked up 7 more points towards his LCX 2 and is now 3/4s of the way there! 

Fable… well he Fabled his way around the courses this weekend On Saturday Fable QC’d two Greyhounds and tied for last place in specials. Sunday he also tied for last place in specials and managed to slam his jaw/face into his poor niece's hip. Monday, you guessed it, he was last place in specials but gave his buddy a great opportunity to show off her agility skills by becoming a moving jump. For all his field cheating, Fable is such a solid, dependable dog!

Hattie had a fun time meeting people and hanging out. She even got to do a fun run on Monday before ribbons!

We had a bunch of fun at the CAHC Lure Coursing trial up in Limestone this weekend! The boys ran well and Hattie got to do a puppy bump. 

Saturday Fable used his very best moose baby brain cells and cheated his way around the course tying for 4/5, then placing 5th after the runoff. Json tied with cousin Beetlejuice for 2/3 taking 3rd after a runoff.

Sunday Fable had a surprisingly good prelim run. He did think some strong thoughts in finals and placed 4th. Json had a solid prelim run and an awesome finals run to win 1st in specials. He then went on to win BOB! Json ended up running with a lovely Greyhound for BIF and held his own when he wasn’t trying to overthink it. Json is now over halfway to his LCX2!

It's been a busy month! This weekend we trekked down to Canon, GA for two days of AKC Lure Coursing. The weather was hot and humid but we had a great time! On Saturday Json won the Specials Stake and BOB to earn 5 more points towards his LCX! On Sunday Json was second to his cousin Beetlejuice for 3 more points and Fable placed 5th! Hattie got to do a fun run on Saturday as well.
