Birthday Bash Trials 2023!

We had a great time at the Gazehound Association of the Smoky Mountains Birthday Bash event! There were 3 days of AKC trials and an AKC judges seminar. I'm so proud of the boys and how they ran!

We went up a day early so I could attend the AKC Judges seminar. It was informative and a great learning opportunity! I also got to do some apprentice judging!

Saturday we had 19 Ibizans entered and had a split stake in Specials and a major in Open. Json won his stake and went on to win BOB! Fable showed off all of his big brain cells and didn't place. Sunday the boys decided to be matchy-matchy and both were 4th place in their stakes. Monday Json had an okay preliminary run, then came back strong to win 2nd place in the Specials stake (we had lost the split stake)! Fable once again showed everyone his creativity and didn't place.
