Today was a whirlwind. Both boys showed in Agility (Time 2 Beat, Standard, and Jumpers With Weaves), Rally, and did their Triathlon conformation exams. Fable was also entered in Beginner Novice Obedience. All 3 rings (Agility, Rally, and Obedience) ended up running at the same time for most of the day. I’m beyond proud of my boys for giving me their all despite jumping around between sports all day. As far as results go:

We attended the DAKC Agility Trials this weekend. Fable had a beautiful run to (re)finish his Open Jumpers With Weaves title after losing several qualifying scores due to a paperwork error. So proud of my Moose puppy! Fable had some really nice components to his Excellent level runs this weekend, just couldn't quite put it all together.
Json got himself a little bit scared on Friday, but rallied for two strong runs on Saturday and was just shy of qualifying. We attended the HOTC February AKC Agility Trials this weekend. The trial was Json's debut in 'big kid' agility and he did so incredibly well! Json was entered in Fast, Novice Standard, and Novice Jumpers with Weaves on Saturday.
He was understandably distracted during his Fast run, and our goal was to try out all of the contact equipment and the tunnel to make sure nothing was feeling scary. He handled all the equipment like a pro! For his standard and jumpers runs he was still a little distracted but held it together so well and managed to earn his first qualifying scores with 2 first placements! Beyond proud of my best Baby Spice! Fable had some really nice runs as well, but we are still pulling some skills together. Json earned his first agility titles! We entered our local AKC ACT trial where Json was entered in two runs of ACT1 Standard and two runs of ACT1 Jumpers. Json went above and beyond my expectations by qualifying in all 4 of his runs with just one fault and earning both his ACT1 and ACT1J titles! We have some more work to do before he's ready to debut in big kid agility but I'm so proud of how far he's come in such a short period of time!
Fable had his first Agility Trial weekend of 2023! We had a rough start on day 1 with Fable jumping over the downside contacts and jumping out of the ring. The rest of the weekend he did so well! Fable earned two legs towards his Open Standard title with two 1st placements. I am so proud of how well Fable has handled himself. He continues to impress me and the judges.
Json got to stop by as well and started to learn what agility trials are about and practiced getting measured. Fable got to go to our local AKC Agility trial this weekend! We were entered in Standard and Jumpers with Weaves (JWW) all three days of the trial. Fable went so far above my expectations! He qualified in 5 of his 6 runs and earned his Novice Agility title! Fable and I missed one Q in JWW on Sunday since we were both a bit tired and Fable was intrigued by what was going on with ring breakdown nearby. I couldn't be more proud of my baby Moose puppy! Can't wait for our next trial!
After much training, assessing, and more training Fable and I finally made our Agility debut! It's been a number of years since I had a dog ready to compete in Agility, so it was a bit nerve-wracking. Fable had only been in the building one time previously (the day before) so I wasn't entirely sure what I'd have to work with. Fable settled super well and seemed unfussed with the environment. We were so close to qualifying as well! We got an 84 in our standard run (85 required to Q), and had one too many run-outs in jumpers. Overall I am THRILLED with how well Fable did! Everything that I was hoping to hit, we hit and then some! Looking forward to our next trial!
