Peanut cancer diagnosis

During our trip to Florida to visit family, I noticed that Peanut had swelling near her lymph nodes in her neck. It quickly got worse, and we proceeded to treat it as if it was an infection. The medication for the swelling helped, but the antibiotics didn't seem to do much.

Unfortunately, when I took her in for an examination with our regular vet, it was determined that she likely has Thyroid cancer. She is currently being made comfortable. As long as she is comfortable and happy, we will keep going. I am so grateful for every moment with my old girl.
